It is difficult to believe but May has arrived and that means it is the final regular meeting for SGR. Where did the time go? It has been a vastly different kind of year for our organization, but we have held together and had a lot of fun learning to use the digital age to keep our group going! From Zoom meetings for our monthly meetings, and new book club, to virtual Seminar and Silent Auctions! I am really proud of all of us for finding a way to continue to share what we love and not fall apart because of the pandemic!
Our May meeting will start promptly at 2:00 PM, as we need to get through our business agenda, including the installation of the newly elected Board members, and a push for membership renewals. Additionally, please see the Birthday Celebration reminder included in this newsletter. If you signed up to participate in the pincushion exchange, please try to participate in this meeting. It means so much more when we can “see” the person who stitched the lovely pincushion.
Our regular monthly meetings will resume in person on September 12th at 2:00 PM at the Church! We will continue to offer a Zoom link for our meetings to anyone who either cannot attend in person or is not comfortable attending in person. The Board is planning something incredibly special for our first in-person meeting! We intend to make it a celebration of epic proportions!
I hope all of you have a safe and happy summer! Thank you for your continued support of this wonderful organization!
Until September, Happy Stitching!
Danielle
